Cars & Coffee 9-26-26

Staring down the forecasters’ predictions of a Nor’easter later in the day, 100+-classic car enthusiasts brought their vehicles to Cars & Coffee on Saturday.  Their pluck was rewarded with a sunny, cool morning—in other words, a perfect late summer day to bring out their prized cars and trucks for enjoyment and exercise.  It was also a perfect time for them to bring their spouses, children and grandchildren, and many did.  Probably the youngest was Trevor and Sam’s son Noah .  and the oldest was—well, let’s not go there.

Either the cool weather or the excellence of Bill’s barista’s skills (and he doesn’t drink coffee, go figure) but by 10AM we coffee drinkers were tipping the urns seeking a last cup of Joe.   Likewise, Dietmar was looking increasingly nervous as the boxes of Dunkin Donuts under his care moved steadily from the “full” pile to the “empty” pile.   Only Watson, his dog and our Donut Mascot, remained unconcerned as passers-by scratched his stomach.

In the words of an ancient philosopher, a picture is worth a thousand words and so the meat of this Round-up will be provided by the photography  of the morning’s activities by Sam Winters who, armed with camera and drone, took the photographs and shot the video attached hereto.
