Cars & Coffee 10-29-2022

Saturday, the 29^th, was a crisp (42 degree) day when the first cars rolled in at 7:45 but a hot cup of coffee and a fresh Dunkin Donut warmed everyone up as the sun finally did its work.  There was an impressive array of cars and trucks that joined us for the last scheduled Cars & Coffee for the year: 3 Ferraris including a brand new mid-engine V-8 model sporting 986 gas/electric horsepower; about 20 Corvettes as the Battlefield Corvette Club stopped in for a morning cup of Joe; a Roush Mustang; a Peacock Blue ’56 Thunderbird and a “Retro-Bird”; a fully restored Dodge Power Wagon; and a host of other classic and exotic cars and trucks.

As the clock approached 10:00 AM and the thermometer rose into the 50’s, a few brave enthusiasts lowered their convertible tops and set out for home.  By 10:00 our parking lots were almost empty and our trash cans were filled with discarded paper coffee cups, and the only sign of the 10 dozen Dunkin Donuts were empty boxes!  And another morning’s Cars & Coffee came to successful end under a bright blue sky.
