El Camino –Restored
One of the true multi-use cars, the El Camino has long been a favorite of car enthusiasts. Finding one restored at an affordable price is rare, but that’s what this car/pickup offers:
- V-8 engine
- Automatic transmission

Named in Spanish for “the path,” the El Camino was the most successful of the coupe/pickup vehicles produced by Detroit.

The Red finish on this El Camino is nicely done and contrasts well with the black interior.
The underside of this El Camino is unusually clean and the floors and frame appear solid and sound.
The Reed vinyl interior is clean and fresh-looking.
The gauges all work as do the lights and horn. The speedometer and turn signals likewise work. The odometer will need attention.
This El Camino has a small block V-8 which supplies more than adequate power for this comfortable pickup to be at home on the highway or around town. The power is enhanced as the exhaust exits through a set of polished headers.
The original Power Glide transmission has been replaced with a 200-R4 Overdrive transmission for more power and lower engine speed when cruising.
The brakes [disc brakes on the front and drum on the rear] bring this El Camino to a sure halt without pulling from side to side.
- Luxury and other features
Equipped with a replacement steering column that offers tilt, a comfortable steering position can be achieved for virtually every driver.
This El Camino will please the most discerning buyer:
- Nice looking exterior/interior;
- V-8 engine;
- Smooth operation with upgraded automatic transmission;
- Comfortable cruising with tilt steering column;
- Snap-on bed tonneau cover;
