A Great Find—1973 Trans Am Survivor

This spectacular Trans Am is a true survivor and equipped the way a muscle car should be: big block engine, manual transmission and factory air. This is a two-owner Trans Am showing very low mileage, and as original as it was when it left the showroom.

  • Owned by 2nd owner since 1974
  • Odometer: 31,058
  • PHS documentation
  • 455 V-8
  • 4-speed
  • Factory Air
  • Very popular Buccaneer Red
  • Excellent interior

For those who like to decode cars, the VIN is 2V87Y3N110938

One drive in this Trans Am will show you why these cars were so popular in 1973 and remain an important collector car today.

Great to Look at; Great to Drive!

  • Paint and Chrome

The original Buccaneer Red paint is in nice condition and gets the driver ready for the performance that awaits under the hood.

There are a few chips and parking lot dings that attest to the car’s originality.

The underside of the car appears free of rust [other than normal surface rust] consistent with a 1973 low-mileage original car.

  • Interior

The upholstery is all in excellent condition from the bucket seats to the door panels to the headliner. Much of the interior looks almost new.

  • Engine

The big-block 455 V-8 engine runs and drives like a new one. It starts right up and has plenty of power to make this a legitimate muscle car.

  • Transmission

The 4-speed manual transmission shifts properly and smoothly as one would expect in Pontiac’s legendary muscle/sports car.

  • Tires, Brakes, Luxury and Monitoring Systems

The raised-letter Goodyear Eagle ST tires mounted on honey-comb wheels complete the look that Trans Am is famous for, and the 245/60R15 tires have plenty of tread remaining.

The power brakes—disc in the front–work properly and smoothly in bringing the car to a rapid and safe stop.

This car also has power steering and factory air conditioning. The radio appears to be original.

All of the engine/systems monitoring gauges/lights (temperature, fuel, amp and oil pressure) appear to work properly.

A Trans Am that you will Enjoy Driving!!

On the road—and that’s the point, isn’t it—this ’73 muscle car is a delight. Whether at a local car show, dinner at a special restaurant or a night out for ice cream, you can be assured that this car will be noticed and admired by everyone who sees it.

This Trans Am represents not just a great driving experience but a sound investment as well. Apart from the investment value of this car, it is hard to put a price on the feeling of enjoyment when other drivers and pedestrians wave and give you a “thumbs up.”
